Developing a whole-school understanding of shared expectations around standards of writing is an effective tool for furthering teacher professional learning about writing. This twilight event will model a process for whole school professional learning that leads teachers, across all KLAs, to a greater appreciation of agreed core writing standards for stages 4, 5 and 6. This session will provide practical strategies that can be adapted for your own local setting. Participants will be asked to bring three extended student responses from their respective faculty area, one each from Stage 4, 5 and 6, for use in the workshop.
